Bug report page is buggy

I have been using Opera for years and plan to go on.

Thats why some issues in Opera would affect me a lot.

I have a problem with CTRL + F combination. Today, I tried to report a bug for the first time, but the bug reporter keeps telling me that the processing of the request was failed, without telling me any reason. I removed all special chars and ensured that my report only included alphanumeric letters; result was the same. Then I filled the form again to complain about the bug reporter itself, with only one sentence, nothing special, but still the same. So I decided to open this thread.

My Bug report was:
It cannot find the text which is actually in the site. (I search for "real_escape") But it finds when you copy the string from the web page and paste it into the search box. Interestingly it inserts a white space between "_" and "e" when it is pasted to the search box whilst the actual string doesn't have that space. Therefore, if you try to type "_ e" manually (space inserted), it still cannot find it.

The php web site is just an example, there are lots of web pages I come across to this problem. I upgraded to Opera 11.52 today, but its still the same. Additionally, it cannot find strings in framed web sites either. For example if there are navigation and main frames in a page; it searches only the main frame, cannot find the text in navigation frame.

By the way, this is my first chance to thank Opera Devs for this awesome piece of software

This would be the right place to report a problem with the bug tracker, but not to report an alleged bug with Opera. Its best to report those in the forum first to get confirmation from other users.

While I haven't seen this issue, there is another report in the forums about Opera adding white space ... you and the earlier poster may wish to compare notes to figure out what you have in common.

On the Bug Report Wizard issue — I just tried to report a bug, but the bug report did not go through.
I tried again with the same result.

Another User With This Problem — so its not just us two.

Please bring it back up! I must report bugs.
