not whenever, turn off sync link at startup and try again.

Delete Opera from phone.
Download again.
Then start
It should ask for "Accept"
Good to go:D

Nothing to do with sync link. It's the old install not being overwritten properly.

Only initial Link works once. Apologies the sync Link is bad after starting up again from Exit.
A bug report me thinks!

I have the same probleme my phone is Samsung GT B7722 when I open opera 6.5 after about 30 seconds it Freeze I shut down the phone and Try again many times but no result. so I'm now compulsory to use opera mini 6.1 pls I need Solution

The fastest solution is to install v5.0.17443 on your device and sync - install the latest mini after that - opera mini shouldn't test the socket port for wap gateways (HTTP).

i have same problem. My phone is k800.
20seconds in starting use opera mini any times, it's freez. And then solve.
I don't want turn off sync link, because it's necessary service.
Thus, this problem must be solve in other ways.
Tnx

where d'you get that?

I tried from 5.1 then updated and it's still FFFFFUUUUUUUREEZES with link ON.

Download links from last sticky topic replacing the version with desired one. The idea is to alow syncing via streamed path since is clear that mini6.5 connectivity is on socket protocol favor. Btw, this issue is reported for HTTP (wap) data traffic when is the only bandwidth available. Previous beta2 (5.0.16823) force exit with sync link on btw.

Kinky. I can't explain that.

Book 'em Danno
I apologise but it means nothing to me.
Clueless?

6.1 is just fine for now.
I can put up with the slow start up as long as it works.

I have the same problem with my Samsung Genio Slide (I use the Java version). The screen freezes after loading up from a bookmark. I can usually deal with it by temporarily leaving Opera, for another application and the freeze doesn't recur. It seems to be a problem exclusive to v6.5. However I am reluctant to return to an earlier version as I find the data monitoring feature so excellent!

Apparently accounts with less bookmarks (or newer) works better, even so my old account worked well for a while with more than 300 bookmarks... I guess that any other theory can be dropped.

Found a v5.0.16823 ........made no difference!

Yes, no difference between htttp and socket. An account with +300 bookmarks and 5 folders freeze the app, instead of that a new account with 30 bookmarks works just fine.

Agreed!
Too many bookmarks.
I have to work out where to put them all now.
