I dunno. I'm starting to question the reasoning beyond all these Ubuntu derivatives.

Yeah, I'm kinda thinking it would be easier to simply offer people a line that goes something like "sudo apt-get install bunchofstuff". Some people do just that, of course.

Dawning of a nu distro.
Like a yamaha virago vs a honda 250 . . .
I started with maveric > natty = (to me) overweight, slow, laggy, burdened with to many apps.
I am using peppermint-2 (fully worked with 3d and hardware acceleration) for 6 months, it rocks and cannot be compared to other old school distros.
Jahmon will break ground.
Jahmon will not be ubuntu with apps.
Jahmon will be tweaked from top to bottom.
Jahmon will base it's core on ubuntu for maximum compatibility and app availability.
Jahmon will use gpu capabilities to the max to create a lightning fast HD desktop.
Jahmon will not be bogged down with unneeded software.
Jahmon will be the eagle not the dove.
Jahmon = God/Man
Jahmon needs no haterz - Jahmon laughs constantly at pessimism, sarcasm and tainted misinformed nonsense...

Due to the speed and all round stability of
Peppermint-3 including the quality of the developers
and the fact it is a long term release based on Lubuntu 12.04.
I am using a customised Peppermint-3 and there is now no need for me to release this distro.
