Apparently Apple is forcing developers to make apps work with sandbox if they want to offer them through the Mac App Store. Maybe a nice time to introduce running under reduced privileges / sandbox for all platforms? Opera is falling behind in that regard compared to IE and Chrome

The result of this enforcement is now visible in the latest Opera 12 build

Are there plans to port this functionality to other platforms too?

I basically want Opera to run "sandboxed" without any third-party program needed
