Savng Account Selector setting?

Hi All,

As usual did some searching here, no answer though.

On Burnout's suggestion I added the Account Selector drop-down to the Mail top Panel. It is awesome.

But... when I close Opera and restart, it defaults back to the "All Accounts"

Is there any way I can have the last used saved and reloaded the next time. I have one main Account Category (MainAcct) that I mostly use When I select my "MainAcct" it drops a lot of the other Accounts from view, but I have to click ever time I start up.

It used to be saved but was changed to always revert to "all accounts" on startup because way too many people were forgetting what account they had it set to and were getting scared that they lost all their mail for an account. These were people that were using "right-click -> show messages from" either on purpose and then forgetting about it or on accident and not knowing about it. When switching accounts that way, there's no indicator in the mail panel showing what account you're on like there is with the drop-down button you can add to the mail panel toolbar.

So, it reverts to "all accounts" on startup for a very good reason. However, I was quite upset that Opera didn't provide an option for me to revert to the old way and was forced to just get used to always switching it after Opera starts up. I'd still love to see an option though.

Thanks Burnout, yeah, that seems kinda dumb not to just make it an option. From a programming stand-point (been programming 30+ years) it would have been much easier than changing that "feature." Seems they must be programming to the Lowest Common Dumbinator. sad
