Voice will not keep quiet
I have a problem with the voice control. It works OK. I have to practice a bit more with my voice inflections. However, it seems to be hearing something which makes it want to respond. Maybe it is just too sensitive to sound in general. I am not making any kind of vocalizations myself, but there is background noise and then the occasional sound from a music or video file. It keeps repeating “Sorry I did not understand” and the occasional “There is no available help”.Is there some way to desensitize the listening part of this feature? It is most annoying when I am trying to listen to music or a video and when I am trying to concentrate on a difficult project.

No I have it turned off. I did consider that solution, but all the good keys are taken. I have to find a key or key combo that I don’t use, but is not too out of the way.
I have a Pause key that would be perfect, but it is non-standard I think and there is no way to identify it to Opera. In other programs, you can just press the key(s) and they are entered for you.
Nuts, I can turn it on, but I can’t turn it off. 8-\ I tried alt shift ? , alt shift / , alt shift ], and alt shift p. I also tried using voice: stop listening, mike off, and tune out. Turning on scroll lock or insert doesn’t work either.
Hmm. I have Start listening as alt shift q. The tooltip when the button is off says ‘Voice (Alt+Shift+Q)’. When you click the button you get the prompt to activate. When you click on the button to turn it off, nothing happens. It is broken so it cannot be turned off.
What? I have it disabled. The button is dark. She’s still talking!
