reddit.com is impossible to browse in Opera

It simply freezes when you click a link, with a hand cursor over the link and you have to force quit the app.

Might be due to some complicated JS, or whatever it is.

Opera, please don't make me switch to Firefox, I love you.

I can confirm similar problems on reddit.com, for example at http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/ln42w/british_redditors_i_love_top_gear_qi_and_the/

While Opera doesn't crash or freeze completely I get spinning beachballs when trying to scroll, hover over links or navigate with the keyboard.

Opera 12.00 (1116) and 11.52. Mac OS X 10.6.8. No extensions or other tabs.

I have the same issues with Reddit. It doesn't crash completely, but spinning beachballs and temporary freezes happen constantly even when just scrolling, so surfing the site is near impossible.

Opera 11.52, Mac OS X 10.7.2. Happens with all extensions diasbled as well.
