Descrepancy in received count

I just spent half the night trying to track down 2 duplicated messages. Finally I figured out what was wrong.

The received count shows 4538 unread messages. There are 4538 unread received messages.
The received count shows 4540 total messages. Between the three inboxes there are 4538 messages.
The sent count shows 0 unread messages. There are 0 unread messages in the sent box.
The sent count shows 2 total messages. There are 2 total messages in the one sent box.
The sent count does not include the received messages, but the received count is including the sent messages.

This . . . is a bug.

Good night.

Is it?

When looking at the Received view, click on View > Show and see if "Show Sent" is checked. If it is, then clear it. If that fixes it, then it wasn't a bug ...

Checking or clearing the show sent has no effect on the total or the unread count.

The "All Messages/Received" total count including sent messages is intended. The total count is not supposed to adjust when you toggle "Show Sent" either. Total count also doesn't adjust when you switch accounts with the account selector to only show messages for one account.

In other words, the total is just the number of messages that are indexed for that view and is not a reflection of just shown messages.

For "All Messages/Received", this basically means the total number of messages Opera knows about via its indexer and database. The total count for this is only really useful to see how many messages you have in Opera. It's not much use for anything else.
