Yahoo redirected to mobile site

Using Opera under Linux Mint 11 64 bit Yahoo.com is redirected to the mobile version of the site (http://m.yahoo.com/?.tsrc=yahoo&mobile_view_default=true) This just happened recently. But, Yahoo has been redirecting me to the mobile version of the sports site for awhile now (http://m.yahoo.com/sports)

I had not noticed the change as I usually use Firefox to check my Yahoo email account. (10.11 is too old). I had to login to fill out the contact form. I informed them that the desktop version of Opera is being redirected to the mobile site and that it is possible to fix it. There is a link at the bottom of the page to go to the desktop site.

In the meantime, you could right click in a page or F12 and select Edit Site Preferences. Change the domain to yahoo.com, delete cookies from the cookie tab, and Mask as Firefox in the Network tab.

Hi
I should have looked here earlier as it's seems to be fixed thanks to your help.

I also did notice Yahoo about this issue weeks ago.
It is a consistent issue with Yahoo, Yahoo.fr, Yahoo.uk

I did open a Yahoo page and deleted all cookies then clicked on the button at the bottom to switch to a desktop mode.
Now, every new page is correct. I did not restart Opera yet...

Thanks

Both the homepage and yahoo sports still broken here on Linux Mint 11 64 bit. Works fine on Windows 7 though, seems to be only an issue with Linux. You can make it work by scrolling down the site and hitting desktop version of the site and changing the browser identification, but I don't really like doing that.

I had this problem....Fedora 17....X64....tried different network preferences and after trial and error, used Mask as Firefox. This gave me a like to the desktop site....use this one:
http://www.yahoo.com/?m=1
It opens like the regular site.

Remember when there was some type of browser protocol emulation type settings (mozilla?) that I remember in the past.
