Opera for lefthanders
I wish to see an option to switch into left-handed mode completely - which means:- scrollbar on the left side
- lefthanded mouse cursor that adopts to the shift of its peak
Some notion on operating system developers:
I really don't understand why developers leave out lefthanders that much. For example, M$ had 10 years since Win 95 and still they are not able to create an OS that can be switched completely to left-handed mode (scrollbars left, mouse pointer from left to right). Although there are mice for lefthanders and some settings can be adjusted, I still wonder why they don't get to manage this very important thing. They care also for accessibility for handicaped people - so why not also for lefthanded people? And the worst thing is: Even the Apple doesn't get to manage this, although they always pretended that they got excellent usability. About 15-30% of the world population are lefthanders (= big market).

ok but I think left-handed has a slightly different meaning ..Usability Forum - Studying the design of everyday things

It's not like you are scrolling it with your hands that you need it on the left side. Just put the mouse in your left hand

I am using Opera with a TabletPc and it would REALLY be useful to have the Option for left sidescrollbars.

I don't think mouse gestures matter here. GestureLeft shouldn't be Forward for people who are used to read and write from left to right, no matter if they are left- or right-handed.you forgot about mouse gestures

Notice where your cursor is most of the time: left or right half of the screen. It makes sense to have the scrollbar in that area instead of having to "cross the entire screen".Scroll bar on the left side?

I did a quick search and found statistics ranging from 5% to 15% (10% according to Wikipedia). Where did you get yours?

A big +1, this would truly be useful for left handed people.
