The "Set label" keyboard shortcut action

In "Keyboard Setup" I'm trying to find out what the "Set label" action does. The "Show Mail Label Menu" action opens the label menu, so it must be something different. Is there a reference somewhere for all the actions in the Keyboard Setup window?

Edit: Sorry for posting in the wrong forum! I first considered a keyboard shortcut for assigning a specific label (pre-defined) to email as a feature request, but then I thought I should perhaps check if it's already possible first, but forgot to change forum.

What I would like to be able to do is to assign a pre-defined label ("Archive" say) by pressing a single key. Currently I'm doing this by pressing three keys (l, a, <Enter>).

I think it would be useful, but remember this has to work in all languages, and labels are now customisable. Something like this would be good:

Set label, "Archive"
Set label, "Bug"
etc.

Just tested "Add to view, %d" now, and it works well. Do you know why it's called "view", not "label"? Does a "view" include other things than labels? I tried using the index of an IMAP folder, but the mail was not moved to that folder – which I somehow anticipated though smile

Well, a label is a view, so ...

All the things that open message lists in the mail panel and contacts panel are views. Not sure of of all the views the command supports though.

It would be really cool if the command was extended to support all views, including IMAP folders wink
