Memory leak?
I have noticed a problem with Opera getting extremely bloated if it is left open for long periods of time with certain websites. The most reliable offender I have found is treehugger.com. If I leave my computer on overnight with opera viewing this site, when I come back in the morning Opera and the rest of the computer will be unacceptably sluggish and I will need to kill opera through the task manager. I have noticed this problem over several versions of Opera.I am using the Opera 11.52 for windows on windows 7.
Similar problem here. I had to kill Opera because it freezes or gets too slow and unresponsive. Task manager indicated 780 meg memory use which is too much for my system.
Opera 11.60, Win XP Pro SP2, PIV 3Ghz, 1 Gb RAM.
