Sites that don't allow printing of pages

I ran into this before. Example is here;
http://www.digitalversus.com/monitors-article-923.html#currentmonitor

The site doesn't allow a 'print preview', nor does it allow printing of their pages. is there a work around for this and how is this prevented in the first place??
Removing the menu bar is the same as blocking access to a vehicle engine by removing the hood access.
No wonder Opera continues to loose users.

I don't have any problems doing a print preview on that site; neither using Ctrl+Shift+P nor using the menu. I surf with JavaScript, plug-ins, etc. disabled by default, though, so it might be caused by something like that.

The site looks really cr@ppy in my browser and there's no print style sheet, so printing won't be a nice experience even if you manage to work around the block.

I just tried it on my Laptop and it seemed ok.
I'm running XP Pro sp3, Opera V11.50 on both.

Yeah, print and print preview both seem fine here (Opera 11.01 WinXPsp3), and I have JavaScript, plugins, extensions, etc, enabled, but you might still look for a particular plugin or extension in your setup that might be interfering.
