How I can add default search provider from my extension?

Hi!
Chrome and Internet Explorer have method window.external.AddSearchProvider(sUrl)
Can Opera to change search provider from extension or other method?

The user must right-click on a search field and choose “Add search provider…” Instructing the user to do so is the best option.
