Saving tabs or last session when i accidentally closed Opera
When I open my opera I want all the unclosed tabs from my previous sessions to be saved.. I already tried going to preferences and selecting "continue from last time" in start up .. I also tried selecting "continue saved seesions" but still when i close opera and then open again it opens in the speed dial and all of my previous tabs/sessions were closed.. I used to have no problem with this in my PC but when I transfered to Mac i'm stuck with this frustrating dilemma. I want this option because sometimes i accidentally close Opera and it's a hassle that all mu open tabs were closed..It sounds strange that "continue from last time" doesn't work for you, but it should and it does for me on my mac.
Next time try "Show start-up dialog", from which you can choose to continue from last time.
Or, as a temporary solution, when you close Opera with many tabs having been opened,
go to /Users/username/Library/Opera/sessions and find "autosave.win" and create a copy -- say "autosave-backup.win".
Then, next time you start Opera again, even if "Continue from last time" doesn't work, you can go to File>Sessions and retrieve the saved session.
