Uploading files in Google Docs
I have issues when trying to upload a file to my google docs. When giving clicks on upload, I just get a menu with the settings but I never get the file manager to upload the document.I am using Opera's native file dialog.
Anyone know about this issue? Any solution?

No problems here. I've just uploaded 2 files using both 11.52 and 12 1116.
Clicking on the upload button here shows me a menu with Files/Settings/xMB of 1024MB used/etc. When i click on Files, it will show the file manager where i can select the file to be uploaded.

I was missing the upload files entry in the menu too.
The control looks to be flash based and I normally browse with plug-ins disabled.
My fix has been to enable plug-ins in the site preferences for docs.google.com.

There is a quirky way I use to get the upload dir to pop open so as to a select files .
1> In Google Docs/Drive move your mouse arrow to the UPLOAD ICON { a pop up under the icon should say 'UPLOAD' in a black box }.
2> Left click on the UPLOAD ICON { Google will display a popup for FILES & other items }.
3> Don't let your finger off the mouse button.
4> Move the mouse arrow over to the popup box to FILES.
5> Now release your finger on the mouse and UPLOAD FILES box should appear so you can select files.
Under Pref. I do have Java, Plugins and content blocking enable.
Might have to clear cookies and try again.
