menu bar re-appeared plz help

Hi folks,
my menu bar just re-appeared all of a sudden (didn't do anything).
Can you please help me to get back to the default (out-of-the-box) Opera appearance?
I don't want to loose my bookmarks and saved sessions (=tabs) though.

10000 thanks

Use a backup tool then (see my sig), because if you don't, sooner or later you will lose them all.

To hide the menu, disable "Show menu bar" from the file menu.

You probably pressed "alt", released it and then "w". When you have the O menu, this will make the old menu show up, but doing the same with the original menu won't.

This should almost be made sticky since a ton of people always ask about this.
MAIN PC: 12.16 -> i7-2600k, 16GB RAM, Win 7 x64
HTPC: 15.0.1147.153 -> A10-6700, 8GB RAM, win 7 x64

I just keep getting more depressed every time I update opera. Very old bugs not fixed, easy fix not made(talking about no option to disable image resize here), new "features" even more annoying than the last ones implemented and often poor compatibility with a lot of website.

thanks folks.
file > show menu bar would have been easier, but I found a way using about:config > user prefs > show menu
