Netbank/BankID with Opera 11.52 at linux Ubuntu 11.10 - problem
HiI have a problem with use of Nettbank with BankId with Opera 11.52 build 1100 on my linux laptop. (It now works with Firefox 7.0.1 - after some google searches to fix the same/similar problem for FireFox and Opera.)
I have checked the sites "www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp" and "www.bankid.no" using both FireFox and Opera. The results are that "Sun Java SE 6 Update 26" indeed is used both for Opera and Firefox, and that "Nettleser", "Operativsystem", "Informasjonskapsler", "JavaScript", "Javaversjon" and "Kommunikasjon med BankID" are OK for both Opera and FireFox.
The laptop OS version: Ubuntu 11.10 (32-bit)
The Java version: Sun Java SE 6 Update 26 for i386 architecture and Linux 3.0.0-12-generic.
I struggled for a while when it did not work on both Firefox and Opera. Now I finally succeeded using BankId with Firefox when making a soft link
ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.26/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so ~/.mozilla/plugins/
I have tried doing the same in the "/usr/lib/opera/plugins" folder, but it does not work for Opera yet.
The error using Opera comes in the end after entering the password. The Java applet says "wrong password" is entered.
I have used the error console and the following text appears when getting the error (why can't this be copied into a text editor? I have to punch it from a print-screen image.):
[30/10/11 14:32:38] JavaScript - https://www.portalbank.no/4230/?portletname=bankidlogin&portletaction=open

Perhaps it is only some internal settings in Opera-Settings-Preferences-Advanced left? I notice that f.ex. "Enable plugins on demand" makes it worse because no applet loads at all.
I appreciate any help that can solve this problem.
