Option "activate the previous tab"?
Hi,I'm using opera for 2-3 years now and there is one feature I still miss from my old browser (Maxthon 1)/Firefox + Addons.
In both browsers it was possible to switch to the tab on the left from the closed tab. To illustrate my problem:
Tabs: [Forum 1] [Forum 1_2 (previously active)] [News 1] [News 1_2] [News 1_3 (currently active)] [Youtube 1] [Youtube 1_2]
When i close the News 1_3-tab, i would like to switch to News 1_2 however I can just "activate the next tab (Youtube 1)", "activate the last active tab (Forum 1_2)" or "activate first tab opened from current tab (???)". This is really annoying and chaotic
. I would like to open some tabs and then work my way from the right to the left (newest to oldest). Is there a way to change this behavior of opera (extension, ...)?
There have always been a number of custom buttons for this. There are also a number of options in Preferences > Advanced > Tabs, but unfortunately the tab to the left is not on that list ...
If you grab the "Close the current page and switch to previous one" button from the wiki - and of course use that button to close the page - it'll do what you requested (mostly ... Opera considers the list of tabs to wrap around; if you close the leftmost tab it'll activate the rightmost tab).
If you can't adjust to using the button ... how do you normally close a tab?
