Cache on ramdrive?
Hello!I have installed software ramdrive on my system.
My question: how can I store the complete cache of Opera on my ramdrive?
Important, that the Opera dont't store any cache on my real hdd, only on ramdrive.
And my second question: if I would like store on the ramdrive ONLY the cache of the browser-which is the recommended size of ramdrive (MB)?

Try junction points or symbolic links.
On windows this can be done by cmd commands or this tool http://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/hardlinkshellext.html
A (few) Gigabyte(s) should be enough, Video and Audio caches there too. And note that opera by default stores a lot of his cache in ram,

IMHO the easiest way if it's only about Opera's cache:
1. Launch Opera
2. Set up your RAM-Disk
3. Enter opera:config and change the path of "Cache Directory4" accordingly
e.g: if your RAM-Disk has the letter H then the path for "Cache Directory4" will be H:\
The size of the ramdrive will depend on how much RAM you can afford and what kind of media you intend to watch.
You might set something between 30MB and 400MB. If it turns out that this is too little you can whenever encrease the size of your RAM-Disk.
