Hi. Many times when I click on wall or information links in the left menu in Facebook I get the loading sign but nothing happens.

If I am having problems in FB, which is usually very rarely.
I run `bleachbit' which amongst other things cleans out my cache and cookies.

As you can see from the screenshot. My Wall (newsfeed) works fine:

Thanks Duncan, its not a wall problem what I have. I will try to get a pic. Also, I have another language set and thinks are different I think. I switched to English to seeif it works better.
Is bleachbit better than Ccleaner?
I see you use peppermintos. I would like to try it. Do you think I will feel a better performance than with Win XP Pro?

I have not had any issues like your screenshot shows.
I would, clean out all cookies and cache, try it in another browser, if it works in another browser,
re-install opera using this method

I use bleachbit as it is about the only full on cleaner in linux (it is exceptionally good)
personally I have not tried the windows version (don't use windows much)
other cleaners for windows

Peppermint is the ultimate XP upgrade!
superfast, superlight, highly customisable, cloud based and a great dual boot (XP and Linux available).

did you try deleting cookies and cache.
You may need to reinstall opera as stated.
I don't think it is a common problem, so something is wrong with your setup.
are you using turbo or proxy?

remember means `in the past'
As stated it all works here. I am not sure why you are having problems.
Facebook is rolling out it's new timeline and problems may well occur again.
I have faith in the opera developers to keep up with variations in code, etc.
Keeping up with opera updates is a good idea.

I installed Opera-usb.com and have the same problem with Facebook, eternal loading and also freezes. Unbearable. This is a browser problem, not settings.

Don't know why you are having issues but it is flying with no problems over here using opera 11.60.
No delays and everything works fine.

Thanks but I (and guess the others too) use 11.52 which is the latest final version. Anyway, lets hope 11.60 release fixes it.

Opera is very buggy on Facebook, it sometimes gets on my nerves bomb
Slow choppy scrolling and incomplete page loading...
that I have to resort to Chrome .
Windows XP sp3
Opera 12.15

Strange thing is.
It's the opposite here, Chromium is fine but Opera is so much faster for scrolling, screen redraws, site loading, etc.

Duncan, have you tested both Opera for Windows and Linux or do you use only Linux? Maybe it is some opera for Windows problem.

Opera is a pain when using FB.

I fount out this. If I click in a left menu item and get the loading sign, reloading the page will work. When one clicks in e.g. info (like in the pic I posted) the address bar will show the URL for "info" page, after that reloading will load the page.

Maybe this gives any clue on what is the problem?
