Making Opera the default browser?

Pardon my ignorance and lack of search skills. I can't seem to find anything on how to switch the default Browser in an Acer Iconia A500 running Honeycomb 3.2. How can I do that?

Secondly, How can I test run an HTML5 page/canvas? I have the folder in the external_sd card. Using
File Browser, I can locate index.htm and click it. It then launches the default Browser and fails. I tried to use Opera but could not enter because I can't find the colon (smile on the keyboard.

Ooops, didn't mean to put a smiley in the message above. I wrote left parenthesis, colon, right parenthesis.

Try "default app manager", available in the android market.
