[solved] Injected scripts and secure (https) pages
Hello, I'm testing my extension and I just noticed that the background script is not loading in the secure version of websites, do I have to set something in the config.xml file to make it work? Maybe this is a security issue and Opera decided not to allow extensions to inject code into secure websites? As a side question, is there somewhere an irc channel or another place where one could talk about opera extensions? thank you very much!
Oh, I feel so dumb. This actually has an easy solution, when the extension is installed it asks you if you want to let it interact with secure pages or private tabs.
But since I was dragging the config.xml file of course I didn't get this warning. All I had to do is go to the extensions tab, click the "privacy" settings for my extension and allow it to interact with secure pages.
