Slight page distortions with Smooth Scroll active
I've noticed a slight difference, between Opera 11.52 and Next, when using "Smooth Scrolling". In Next, when you quickly scroll with the mouse wheel or hold down the down cursor, the browser doesn't seem to refresh the screen as quickly as needed and ends up stretching either the first or last line of the webpage (depending on the direction your scrolling) as the page moves. It doesn't last long, just a fraction of a second. But, 11.52 doesn't do this; smooth scrolling with 11.52 doesn't distort the page.I'm not too sure if this is due the hardware acceleration in Next or not, but it's there - so I thought I'd report it.
I'm running Opera on my Aspire One running Fedora 15 and Gnome 3.
I still adore my C64
