How do you answer Yes to the Do you want to allow Javascript...question that pops up.
When I start Opera and to to a site, for instance isohunt, I will then get a message popping up asking if I want to allow Javascript blah blah blahIs there a way or setting I can change to set this answer to YES so it doesn't keep repeatedly popping up.
I don't know if this is an Opera issue or a Javascript issue, I just know that none of my other browsers do this..
Thanks to anybody with an answer.
Les
It sounds as if you have javascript turned off in Opera, either globally or for just that site. Given the nature of drive-by exploits out on the Internet, keeping javascript mostly off is not a bad idea... then only turn it on for those sites you have found you can trust. But in any case, if this is what is occurring, you can turn javascript on within Opera in two ways:
1) Globally: CTRL+F12 > Advanced > Content > Enable JavaScript (check the box) > OK --- this will enable javascript for all websites you visit unless you exclude a site as noted below
2) By specific site: when you navigate to a website, right-click on a blank spot of the page > Edit Site Preferences > Scripting > Enable JavaScript > OK --- this will enable or disable javascripting for just that website, regardless of the Global setting; Opera will remember and use this setting thereafter each time you visit the site

Opera 12.14u (1738), 11.52 (1100) & 10.63 (3576) running on various Windows systems from Win7-64 down through KernelEx4-modified Win98FE (proof that reports of Win98's demise are greatly exaggerated).
