Hi,

We have released an update to Opera Mini 6.5 for Android.

This update also contains fixes for most commonly reported problems:
  • Fixed problems with no feedback given to the user when shortcut couldn't be added to home screen

  • Fixed problems with download view not updated properly in some cases
  • Crash and stability fixes

Update is available now in Android Market and will be available on our servers later today. All users are recommended to update.

Big thanks to all of you for your constant support.

All in all it works great, but where is the mobile Data counter? Cant find it anywhere...

And please add a user agent feature!

I HATE all those "mobile optimized" pages, because they dont give me all informations...

Love the new update to Opera Mini. Everything working smooth.

However, I would like to turn off the opening splash zoom screen when I turn on Opera.
Anyway to do this?

I don't think they ever had this in the older versions.

Mini is my fav browser compared to other opera products, with a better download manager and better javascript support, it will be better than opera mobile.

pages load just fine but most if not all pages will not allow scrolling after a few seconds , i initaillly can scroll down but then the page freezes and i get a dialouge box asking me if i want to force quit or wait or another option, i usually wait and in a few more seconds you can see the page "jump" a bit and i can go about my business.. in the meantime perhaps we can get the previous build which worked just fine on my lg lp999/g2x
