Unable to update or remove recovery account from My Opera Mail Beta account settings
I would like to remove the gmail account from under settings => account. I believe this was the myopera.com recovery account when I signed up for the My Opera Mail Beta.
I have since discontinued use of that particular gmail address and would like remove the account or at the very least, update it.
It does not appear that end users are currently able to update or remove the recovery account, so please log this as a feature request.

Thanks for the report - we're aware of the current limitations of not being able to change your backup address.
You're one of the very special users that has their secondary account displayed. New users don't have it at all - because we agree that it's not really necessary unless you explicitly want to add a POP link to that account.
For the time being, you can add your new address as a new account, fetch your mail from it, and even select it as your default account when replying. I hope that helps

So am I and I wish I wasn't. In a comment on the Opera Mail Team blog, I posted about this issue and I was met by a improper reply by Johan Borg.
He said "what problem is it causing that you can answer e-mails from the address you have set up as recovery address for My Opera."
The problem is that I have DELETED my Gmail account and I do not even wish to see any Google-related thing on my favorite web mail service which is my only e-mail account.
