it works, till you using it with the two first letters for exemple, the problem is I for example, I didn't know that

Even that doesn't work too well though. It tab-completes alphabetically regardless of nick activity which is a problem more often then not in large rooms like freenode's software channels.
I voted for yes, although I personally don't think I'll be using it much. I'm constantly on Freenode channels as well (#python, #php, #mysql) and there are hundreds of users, but I find typing the first few letters + tab to work just fine for me .
