Opera Link + speed dial extensions

I use Opera Link to synchronise my Speed Dial, which I love; and it works great for the main part.

However, things became very confusing and frustrating when I tried to add Speed Dial Extensions and synchronise those too.

I have lost count of the number of times I have added a Speed Dial Extension, then seen duplicate Speed Dial entries in one browser (one of which is working and the other is the default URL for that extension), then deleted one of them. Invariably I then see that my Extension Management page no longer has an entry for that Speed Dial Extension (either on the current browser or on my other linked browser).

Am I being stupid here? Has anyone else got this to work without fail and if so, what are the steps exactly? I have about four browser instances, all synchronising their Speed Dials to the same account at various times of the week on a couple of machines.

Note: if no-one else is having problems, it could be due to me running various pre-release versions of Opera alongside the release versions. Still, I'd prefer if deleting a Speed Dial Extension from the Speed Dial window didn't cause the Extension itself to be removed; it should stay and there should be an option on the Extension Manager to say "add back to Speed Dial" instead.
