Feature Request: Open local address / IP
Hiit seems impossible to open an address / IP on the local network (LAN). Please make this possible.

Due to the nature of how Opera Mini works (your OM on phone sends a request to the Opera Mini servers to fetch, download, compress, and send pages back to you), it is impossible for OM to access local addresses. The OM servers would need permission to access your local network, but there's no way to grant that because of security reasons I think.

I think the path OM taked should be different: If local address (IP range / "localhost") then simple go directly there, not using any external server.
This could even be a setting the user could decide to use / for what addresses to use it.

You don't understan how Opera Mini works. Opera Mini is a thin client. The actual browser engine is on Opera's servers.
