How to Make a Label Act Like a Folder

Opera's built-in mail client doesn't support folders like other clients. It supports views that make searches on the database and return results. This means the same messages can show up in multiple views.

However, you can mostly simulate folders with a label. Just right-click on a label and goto its properties. On the "options" tab, check "hide these messages from other views". Then, messages in the label won't show in other views unless "show hidden" is set for those views.

Then, just make sure you don't put a message in more than one label at a time and you've got a folder.

Cut/Copy (drag/ctrl + drag) and paste (via keyboard shortcuts or menu items etc.) among labels work just like like they do with folders.
