In the keyboard shortcuts can someone please show me how to make CTRL+K give focus to the search field (like Firefox)?

Ctrl+E is the Opera shortcut for that.

but if you want to change that:

Ctrl+F12 > Advanced tab > Shortcuts > Keyboard setup > Edit > type Search to the search field > change e ctrl "Focus search field" to your liking.
