Why during uninstallation of Opera 11.52 it try to find iexplorer.exe?

I got this error message during uninstall of Opera.

Windows cannot find "...\iexplorer.exe...."

Why is the uninstaller looking for iexplorer.exe?

I have uninstalled IE 9 and disabled IE 8 in my Windows 7. Since it become available, I have been using the portable version of Opera. Install the standard version only to troubleshoot some issues. Now that those issues were resolved, I uninstalled the standard version.

But am curious Why is the opera uninstaller looking for iexplorer.exe?

Thanks.

Irene

No doubt it was listed as your previous default browser, they were probably trying to send you to a survey page to ask what you thought of Opera and why you removed it.

Yes, Opera calls IE or whatever at uninstall for a survey.
