"Download directory" setting ignored

Consider this scenario:
1. Goto some site where you need to upload a file e.g. http://www.virustotal.com/
2. Choose a file from somewhere on you disk e.g. c:\dangerous_files
3. try to save any image from any site or download any file with "Save to download folder"
4. it will be saved to c:\dangerous_files instead of you configured "Download directory"

This is very inconvenient. IMO the download directory should not be confused with folders from where i choose files to be uploaded.

Can this be fixed?

I'm using 12.1116 on Window 7.

Thanks, Oleg.

Not confirmed here. I've uploaded something to a site an then saved an image to the download folder and it was saved correctly.

so is this regression in Opera 12?
I can easily reproduce it on clean 1090 build

Nope, I've tested on Opera 12 build 1116.

And I've tested now on 11.60 build 1145 and it's still working fine.

Maybe a specific problem on build 1090.
