See my tips page.

There are two stages: editing menu.ini and editing search.ini.

What should I do to go to added search instead of default search? What should I edit in searches.ini?

Go to preferences > Advanced > Toolbars and duplicate the default menu setup. This will create a copy of the standard_menu.ini in your profile (in the menu folder) - that is the one you will edit. When you change and save .ini file activate another in preferences > Advanced > Toolbars. Create [My Menu] above [Links Panel Item Menu] in menu.ini it will save you time if you will add more actions.

Example for google search
"google it" - action name
g - short-cut for google search
%c - paste from clipboard
[My Menu]
Item, google it="Copy, , , , & New page & Go to page, "g %c ""

In this sections in menu.ini (like me)

[Link Selection Popup Menu]
[Readonly Edit Widget Popup Menu]
[Edit Widget Popup Menu]
[Frame Menu]
[Toolbar Edit Item Popup Menu]

you can add

Include, My Menu

or
Submenu, >>> My Menu, My Menu

">>> My Menu" - tittle of submenu
If you never use some actions you can add
;
in front of that line so it won't be visible

Opera Preferences version 2.1
; Do not edit this file while Opera is running
; This file is stored in UTF-8 encoding

[Version]
File Version=2

[Info]
Description=Opera Standard menu setup
Author=Opera Software ASA
Version=1
NAME=x2

[My Menu]
Item, google it="Copy, , , , & New page & Go to page, "g %c ""

[Links Panel Item Menu]

You should also be able to use the Search keyword, except that I'm not sure how one determines search numbers since they updated all that stuff.
