long html pages -> reeaaally slow
I don't know if it is an Opera Mac problem or a universal Opera rendering problem. But webpages that go on and on for quite a long time. Long list are incredible slow.
Sometimes it crashes but even if not for every input you need to wait a few seconds to be recognized so slow is it.
I usually open Chrome and use it for those webpages. Chrome works fine on those pages.
It is really annoying having to switch the browser for some of these pages, especially when you just stumble upon them. Open multiple pages one is very long and if it doesn't crash already it takes quite an annoyingly long time to close the tabs again to get it running again.
I already wrote a detailed bug report a few months ago. Is this every going to be fixed?????
It showed up with 10.5 or 11 I think and has been around for a while now.
Try this webpage.

Or the long lists on notebookcheck.com

I agree, it is very frustrating. Scrolling, hovering over links, navigating links with the keyboard all makes Opera freeze for a while. And just now I opened a relatively large page in a background tab and got spinning beachballs trying to scroll and interact with the page in the active tab.
