Transfer Opera to a new computer?
Hi All,I did a search and got a lot of unrelated posts so here I go.
Just bought a Netbook with win7 Starter and would like to transfer my Opera to it. I have downloaded and installed Opera on the Netbook, how do move (copy) my Bookmarks and Mail stuff from the desktop Opera to the Netbook Opera?

Bookmarks: copy bookmarks.adr to the new Opera profile (see help > about to find the path to it).
Mail: Copy the mail folder on desktop to Opera's profile folder on the netbook. If you use imap, just create the account on netbook's Opera.

Thanks for the quick reply. I finally found Export" under the Settings menu, not all that intuitive but I have Exported and then Imported that and it seems fine.
There is an Import Mail option there, but no Export Mail. I need to import the configuration not just the mail itself. I currently have 15 POP accounts on the desktop and a bunch of Labels. I do not want to have to create 15 new accounts manually on the Netbook.
I cannot find a "Mail" folder anywhere. I looked in "Program Files\Opera" and "Users\AppData\Roaming\Opera" and still nothing. Not sure where the mail is being stored.
Any other thoughts?

There is no way to do it afaik. The only way is to copy the whole mail folder.

What Help > About says? Under "Paths" there must be one for "mail directory".

You copy the profile folders over to the other computer first. Then, you install Opera on the other computer and Opera will use the existing profile as if it had always been there.

In short, you don't need to do any importing/exporting. You just copy folders over.
