Remove new blog post & new photo comment notifications from subscriptions page after clicking

I'd actually like to keep the notification for a new post in subscribed blog kept until I dismiss it individually manually (current way). Sometimes I have a quick look first then come back later for commenting.
However I don't like the current way of notification for new photo comments not removed after my taking a look. I actually think this behaviour is a bug, considering notification for new blog comments are removed after my opening the page.

All this is very confusing
On ../news/ page some of them stays even after I have read them. I suppose this is the case on my own album posts but not with the blog posts. And if subscribed to someone else's whole blog or album, the news stays. But not if I'm subscribed to single picture on albums after commenting it.
And what I guess this topic is about, the features on ../subscriptions/ page, then anything that improves it is welcome. I have over 5000 subscriptions to 'Photos', and no easy way to delete them. Each of them has to be removed one by one, and not easy to recognize what they are without opening them into another tab
