Opera Mobile - Skype (m.skype.com) won't detect my phone properly (Nokia E5)

When I access http://m.skype.com thru Opera Mobile on the Nokia E5, it states that Skype isn't available for my device. This is untrue, as seen here: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/get-skype/on-your-mobile/download/skype-for-symbian/ Nokia E5 is a supported device by Skype.

When I visit http://m.skype.com thru the Nokia E5's default browser, it detects my phone correctly and gives me a download link.

Why doesn't Skype.com detect my phone properly if use Opera Mobile to access it? I'm using the current latest version of Opera Mobile (just downloaded today).

You should ask Skype about that... smile I honestly don't know which headers they look for, or what's going on.

Already did (link). This was just a doublecheck in case the issue was on Opera's side (I initially thought that Opera Mobile might not be passing the phone's details properly to m.skype.com).

If anyone has similar problems you can download Skype from Nokia Ovi store.

I even got a phone not supported error when using the native browser on my Nokia E6 which is clearly supported since I now have Skype installed and running from Ovi.

So it does seem like a problem with Skype rather than Opera or any other browser.
