11.60 build 1139: New Mail UI

One of those things that always bothered me ... if you set the mail client as "List and messages on right" it was always too hard to tell what was in the list (trying to fit everything on one line). I suppose if you have one of those huge widescreen monitors you could make the list wide enough for that to be useable, but for those of us with a monitor less than 1400 pixels across ... well, something just had to give.

Today, they've changed that. If you set Opera to have the list and messages on right, the list will be in two line mode (though I'm pretty sure you could disable it if you do have one of those 1690x1080 monitors and want to use the full screen) left

In addition, they now group messages by date, much like History does. Also the View menu is now a palette, much prettier, and the whole thing has been tidied up. Of course, they want you to test it out, so they did enable messages on right and so on, if you decide don't want it you'll have to put everything back the way it was yourself. (You're used to that here in Beta Testing aren't you?)

Known issues
Crash on editing mail signature
Opera 11.60 snapshots will not be auto-updated (only 12.00 snapshots).
Native Mac and Linux styling for the new mail window not done yet.
Flash Player 11 crashes on Mac. We recommend disabling it or downgrading for the time being.
This is an Opera build not Opera Next. You should backup your stable profile before upgrade.

(Three of those are the same as Friday, only the mail stuff is new.)

You should have included a link! Well, I'll put it here:

(fix for some crashers, no real info there - that's why I'm not starting a new thread)
