11.52 Freeze on Manually Turning on Wireless Radios

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad R61 with Opera 11.52 installed in Windows 7 x64. When the switch on the laptop to physically turn on and off the wireless radios is turned on Opera will freeze. After killing the process and restarting Opera it will again freeze. The only remedy I have is to restart the machine with the radios on to get Opera to work again. Can anybody else duplicate this or have a fix?
