opera doesn't reclaim screenspace if android notification bar is at the bottom of the screen.

i noticed a little bug with opera:
if the android notification bar is set to appear on the bottom of the screen(acer phones with 2.2 or higher, cyanogenmod with tablet tweak, tablets with android 3.0 or higher) and the notification bar is hidden through either OS settings or opera settings, the screenspace isn't used properly by opera.
in the case of honeycomb the screenspace is never used, just stays black. (somewhat understandable, opera and android don't support hiding the notification bar in 3.#)

in 2.3.# and older android versions opera doesn't use the area opened up by the hiding of the notification bar until the opera screen is redrawn by switching orientation back and forth(landscape/portrait).
the space becomes unused again by opera if you open the virtual keyboard, because the keyboard also triggers the notification bar to appear.

so expected behaviour:
opera mobile uses the entire free screen space.
observed behaviour:
opera mobile doesn't use the area of the screen where the notification bar would be if opera mobile wasn't in fullscreen mode.

strangely this only occurs when the notification bar is set to appear on the bottom of the screen(easier to access on large phones)
if the notification bar is on the top of the screen opera will properly use that part of the screen in fullscreen mode.

EDIT: added screenshots.
