RSS Email Headers
Using 11.60.1145 with the traditional email view(over/under)....headers on RSS emails do not adhere to the selections in the Customize selection dialog....headers on regular emails function properly.....also, the Font size on the RSS Subject is huge...almost twice the size of that on a regular email....using 12.00.1116, RSS header content adhered to the Customize selections....Hello guys, I totally agree with you, the RSS subject font is huge and when dealing with a RSS with long title all I see in the preview is the subject.
Also, the text preview font is too damn SMALL, after increasing the font size (which is fortunately possible) the next RSS feed has the same problem. In Opera 11.52 the font size remained increased (very usefull).

FWIW...I just checked out the new 'message on the right' configuration for a day and it's not bad....obviously, after 30 years of message below, it's going to take a while to get accustomed to it...but, if there's not going to be a change in the header font, I won't have too much of a problem using it...in fact, moving your eyes left to right seems to be more natural than from level to down....getting accustomed to the two line listing may be more of a problem....
I love the new mail design and layout, however, for my purposes, it still requires a few tweaks. I use mail primarily for RSS feeds which is what we are discussing here.

I would like the option to only display the message subject and not the name of the feed/sender. I sift through hundreds of RSS feed messages a day and now each one takes up two lines (one for subject and one for sender, which is identical for all messages within a specific feed folder) which makes it more difficult to scan them quickly.
So, it would be great if we could do the following:
1. Have an option to only show subject line in mail folders
2. Use a different font style for the sender line e.g. italics so that my brain can quickly distinguish between a subject and sender line and filter out what it's not interested in
