Set Speed Dial State to 3.
OH ... THANK YOU ... THANK YOU ... THANK YOU! I LOVE the way Opera can be customised.
I have been trying to get rid of speed dial for ever ... since it was first introduced.
I know this doesn't actually UNINSTALL it, but at least now its 'icon' doesn't sit in the bottom RHS corner and annoy the heck out of me.
HATE it. Should have been one of those "features" that could have been optionally omitted at time of installation. For instance, see how Libre Office does it with its 'Custom Install'.
Opera really should get back to its roots - a lean mean browser, not suffering from the dreaded bloatware of its current incarnation.
I have no problem if others want these "features" - just make them optional.
Thanks Esstek, you've made my day! Ian Bond
