Uploaded picttures not showing - Blackberry Curve 8520 powered MTN
Hi,I use Mini Opera version 6.5 on a Blackberry Curve 8520 powered MTN. Uploading pictures by email gives as result a blank icon instead of the picture. The album seems empty. I of course tried to change in settings the picture quality setting. Many users tells me they can't see my pics while strangely a few can. Other problem : uploading with the Opera Uploader isn't working. Thanks for help. Marc
In real terms ... the pictures are there, but they have no thumbnails. If I click on the thumbnail the picture loads fine, but all the thumbnails are the same generic image that My Opera uses for a missing image - and the small thumbnails in the Latest Comments widget are completely blank.

Some friends told me that clicking on a generic Opera white thumbnail don't show the image neither, so it's even more a mistery lol. Have a nice day!

I am using Ubuntu and haven't discovered how to load opera to it yet.
I am getting a similar problem editing posts with Firefox.
I may have compounded the problem by downloading the Google translation tool bar. It mucks up the behaviour of the browser as though I was a Microsoft Newbie that deserved no better.
If I try and edit a post, the picture's code becomes munged and won't show up on the page it was on a moment earlier. Sometimes this is due to page wrap forcing a character space. Sometimes it is a duplication of the source file with some BB code thrown in.

Thanks again for helping me. I tried renaming jpg and uploaded two with alphabetic names (sorry for my english) and the problem is still apparent. I'll have a drink lol ! Have a nice day ! Marc

It works!
How: like you write, by renaming with a simple name and uploading again. It doesn't work by email sending.
