having trouble with windowopen;; OpenWin.testvarOpen = window.testvarOpener does not work
Hello,I am using Opera 11.51. I'm having some difficulty with window.open. Here is the code:
var ParentVariable = 1;
var ChildWin = window.open("ChildWindow.html", "ChildWindow");
ChildWin.ChildVar = ParentVariable;
ChildWin.ChildVarToo = 2;
The child window opens, but ChildVar and ChildVarToo did not exist. For the record, the above worked in all browsers but Opera; that is, Chrome (mac/win), Safari (mac/win), IE, and FireFox. So, what is the issue with Opera, here???
