Userscript not working

Hi, I am using Opera 11.52 and have been running some scripts.

There a web game/site that is called http://stardriftempires.com/ .

On this site, I am running several scripts from www.eljercode.com . These are running well. Though I would like to run another script (Lytjohan's script) which is useful but is having issues in running.

The script shows the intended symbols on the web page after installing but it is not an active button. The symbol is there but its not linked (so it doesnt pop-up another page as intended, nor give info).

You can see Lytjohan's script here - http://sde.lytjohan.net/X2StaticScript/sfc_SDE_v5.user.js

Sorry, I am not really a tech literate when it comes to coding, so I explained the best that I could. It would be great if someone could take a look at the script to see if its compatible with Opera.

Thanks.

BTW, love Opera. Been using it for 11 years now.

Just to clarify, posting some pics.

This is in Firefox. Note the colour of "B!"and the colour of "?"

This is in Opera. Notice it is white in colour, so the script is not functioning.

Maybe the script is outdated?

Maybe the script is not for Opera?

nope, the script is not outdated. The person maintains it all the time.

I guess it is not compatible with Opera but runs well with Chrome or Firefox-Greasemonkey.
