Flash cannot work on linux 7.3

Hi all,
first sorry for my bad english.I am useing Linux 7.3 (Linux 2.4.18-3smp #1 SMP Thu Apr 18 06:59:55 EDT 2002 i686 unknown) on this os i am installed Opera
9.64.When i am trying to see some video it shown an error You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video.I am treid to download flash player (libflashplayer.so) but nothing is happened same error.what can i do now i don't want to update my os because its an server and my some application is run on this server only.Can anyone give a solution.

There is no Linux 7.3. The Linux kernel only recently hit version 3.1. I presume therefore that you are referring to the version number of your distribution. I would guess judging by your kernel version (2.4.18) that this is Red Hat 7.3.

A couple of things. Firstly you really should update this machine. Support and updates for this version of Red Hat ended years ago, so unless you have been very careful and managed all the security updates yourself manually this system is not secure. Secondly, Opera 9.64 itself is unsupported and also has known security holes, so you should not be running it (particularly on a server).

Regarding your issue I would be very surprised if modern Flash ran on such an old system, so you are unlikely to have much luck with that.
