move log in button into address bar

only display the log in button in beside star in the address bar when necessary, it can save more space and hide a gray button

Hmmm

+1 to this.

Maby it can be beside the RSS/star bookmarks button. And it only appears when one has already save password on the site.

Sounds like one of those "why didn't we think of this before" idea.

Opera can adapt to the world, but that should not be at the cost of making any of them both stupider

+1 for this excelent idea, move button close to the new bookmark star.

how it should work;
>A grey icon if u have not saved username pasword for curent website.
>clicking the grey icon opens login dialogue (just like ftp authorization dialogue), user enters data and opera logins to page and saves login data!
>A blue icon when login data is already saved.

This would be a great addition to the featherweight modern addres bar! yes
I hope some opera dev picks up this idea.

We don't need any more clutter in the address field thanks.

Use the start toolbar and add the wand button to that if you cannot use mouse gestures on a touchpad.

The addressfield shouldn't be misused for any fancy thing. The yellow star is already more than enough.
However I don't care about the address bar or other bars where I can easily remove buttons.
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.
It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle: when the sun comes up, you'd better be running.
