Copy-Paste problem
I've got problem regarding copy-paste feature. For instance, when I highlight a word on this site (doesn't matter if in a filling form, or plain text) and then choose to copy it either from context menu or by keyboard shortcut, I cannot paste it either with right-click menu or keyboard shortcut as well. Sometimes it works, but I still haven't figured out the rule here. I think this is a really important issue. Opera 11.52 comp. 1100, Windows 7 64-bit SP1. Occurs on at least two machines with similar configuration.O 11.52 Windows NT 6.1

Looks like it is working fine here except that it sometimes add a space at the end of a word. I think this bug is already reported.
Do you have extensions installed? Make sure that none of them is causing this problem.

Thank you for fast reply. I don't know what may be causing this bug, must be then some external apps. I've got no extension installed. Right now it is working for me as well (I noticed the problem with spaces too), but I don't remember now what else had I opened when I reported the bug. As soon as I reproduce this behaviour, I'll let you know about the configuration.

Similar problem... I can copy>paste normally within one tab, but not across tabs. I.e. highlight and copy in tab two will not paste into tab one.

I may know what's causing this...
Perhaps you're copying text from a "private tab" or window and trying to paste elsewhere after closing it?
Opera doesn't let you to do this.

For the last month, I have been unable paste at all in any program. I uninstalled Opera and pasting worked fine. Reinstalled it, and no pasting ability. I'm running Windows XP and, as I write this I have 54% free RAM and 98% free CPU, so it's not from a lack of resources. I have also not made any changes to my computer (other than updating Opera) since before the problem began. I wonder if it has something to do with the 'notes' feature in Opera. This is a major problem for me, as I do desktop publishing and use copy and paste a lot. I really like Opera, so I hope the problem can be fixed because otherwise I can't continue using it.
Has nothing to do with Notes, no. Really, shouldn't have anything to do with Opera either. If Opera is not running, it will have no impact on your system on its own. Something else is responding to the presence of Opera in this strange fashion ... (and yes, I also use XP).
You are absolutely right and I was wrong. I have discovered the problem and it had nothing to do with Opera. I had a memory-resident RAM manager whose latest update is a little too gungho. Tricky to find because I've been using it for quite some time without problems (prior to last update). I dumped it and everything now works fine. Big apology!!!
I am having a problem copy and pasting with Opera as well. I can copy and paste if I use Chrome, Safari or IE but not with Opera. I am normally copying information out of an FB game and trying to paste it into a google doc. All the other browsers will allow me to do this but not Opera. I haven't downloaded any Opera add-ons that I'm aware of. I really love Opera except for this one issue. Any suggestions????
I am using opera 11.64 on Windows 7 and I have tons of Copy and Paste problems everywhere. But where its most annoying is in gmail. I copy some text and go to another program or tab.. and many times is pastes nothing. I sometimes have to just load up a page in another browser when I know I will be doing a lot of copying and pasting. I love opera, it sooo fast on my machine.. but this problem is driving me crazy. I have one extension install, LastPass. Not sure if thats it. Wish I could find the problem. Oh, and right clicking and selecting copy seems to work more often then ctrl-c.
